The UBA120 resin beads produced by Mitsubishi are ion exchange resin beads with uniform particle size. Diaion UBA120 is used in the treatment of pure water, water treatment in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, beverages, alcohol, thermal power, textile dyeing, etc.
UBA120 resin is a strong base anion resin, meeting food and pharmaceutical standards, making it completely safe for water treatment in industries such as food and pharmaceuticals, such as in the production of pure water.
Advantages and Disadvantages
Advantages:
• High durability due to stable physicochemical properties.
• Very little wear or depletion during use. Therefore, no need for replenishment after a cycle of operation.
Disadvantages:
• Requires precise operational calculations to achieve optimal efficiency.
• Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents: UBA120 resin beads can be degraded by strong oxidizing agents such as chlorine, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, etc.
• Not suitable for high-temperature applications: The resin beads may deform or lose ion exchange capability at excessively high temperatures.
• Storage: Store resin beads in a dry, cool place.
